Pancake tour of America? Yes, please.

Another trek across the dystopian devastated US. 

10. The Maze Runner Trilogy by James Dashner
Let’s see: travelling through the maze, through an intense scientific facility, and across the practically destroyed US.  

So I’m not totally sure if this is the type of travel that the topic meant, but sometimes I tend to think a tad literally.
